Thank You for sacrificing Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to take our sins upon Yourself and save us from eternal death in hell. Thank You for forgiving me and for giving me second chance after second chance. Thank You for keeping me and my family safe, through thick and thin. Thank You for keeping me safe, even when things are tough or seem grim. Thank You for always being there for me, even when I'm not there for You. For those times I'm truly sorry, please forgive me my Lord.

Jesus, my holy Savior and Messiah, please save us all. Please guide us to You, and please help more people discover You and Your miracles and Your sacrifice. I need some opinions and help regarding Vocaloid and UTAU a minute-

SO i tried to download UTAU on one of my computers (not my main one because it's a chromebook, but rather a Windows 11 OS) but no matter if I set the locale or even the language to Japanese, UTAU kept trying to download in English (I don't know how to fix it, it's just not working)... so I'm thinking about waiting for my birthday to get a Vocaloid. I know they're expensive but they seem easier to use than UTAU and actually come in English (since I don't know a lot of Japanese currently).

I have my eyes on Kaito currently since he sings in both English and Japanese (plus he's one of my favorites and I love his voice), but I also have been considering Kaai Yuki since she's really cheap and I like her a lot too (although she only sings in Japanese). Overall I'm just having trouble picking.

Plus I don't know what music software to use with it. I'm pretty much on a zero dollar budget outside of paying for the Vocaloid, so I've been sticking with free stuff so far (Garage Band and Medley right now)... but they're both pretty cheesy and mediocre. I was wondering if there was a good music software that works with Vocaloid that's out there? Even if I have to pay for it I'd just like to know (maybe I could do a free trial or something, I don't know).

Honestly I just need some feedback. What Vocaloid do I get for a beginer (on a budget)? What music software do I get? Why isn't UTAU working? Honestly I'm lost lol-

Anyway that's all I wanted to say. Sorry if this was a lot, there's just not many things I can find out there that help with my specific problems. Anything helps

Edit (2/22/25): I think I'm going to go with Rin & Len if I get a Vocaloid, simply because they're basically 2-in-1 and I like Len a lot (plus then I can make songs with harmony really easily, along with several other vocal benifits). Still haven't figured out UTAU though, and I've totally given up on trying to make it work. It's just too much effort and I'm worried I'm going to end up accidentally installing a virus... definitely not something I want to do, point being.

Plus I've also sort of given up on trying to find a music software that's better than what I have. I think I'll just make cover songs in the meantime until I can actually afford something decent. That way I can just find pre-made instrumentals and import them without having to make my own music, only the vocals. Or I could do collabs too... but I'm sure that won't happen until (or rather if) I become a more recognized Vocaloid artist.

We'll have to wait and see what happens, really. I'm not really to worried about anything right now. I have faith in God that everything will work out how it's intended to.

Second Edit (3/7/25): I'm completely focused on getting Len and Rin now, only gotta wait (a little less than) five months now lol. I've already written like four and a half songs (I like writing lyrics for songs first before making the music) so I'm pretty hyped up to say the least. I don't think there's much else to say on the matter, although I might make instrumentals soon. Or at least make a list of covers I want to make. Who knows.

Dude I hate having a weak heart

Like my sister just made a cup of coffee and I took a sip (and it was freaking delicious btw), so I asked if I could make a cup but then I remembered I CAN’T HAVE CAFFEINE. Like the most caffeine I can consume is a can of caffeinated soda qwq. Otherwise it gives me heart arrhythmias RAHHHHHHHHH. It’s so freaking FRUSTRATING, especially because DECAFF ISN’T ANY DIFFERENT EITHER, IT DOES THE SAME THING. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH. I JUST WANNA DRINK COFFEE WAAAAAAAAAAAAH 😭

I mean it’s not the end of the world it’s just frustrating. (Ignore my whining I’m goin’ through stuff.)

Hey guys so I just wanted to talk about something really quick. I'm not sure why I'm posting this: if I want advice or just for someone to hear me, I'm not sure. But either way I'm a little worried and just wanted to get this off my chest.

Okay so this all started about a year or so ago. I had this friend who I'll call Vine for privacy reasons. We met each other in a private online school and started talking through emails for a while. We bonded over Minecraft and me and him enventually exchanged Discord users. We started talking over there and eventually would even get on voice calls and talk while we played survival worlds in Minecraft together. He even made a Discord server for me and a couple of his friends to all talk in together.

This chatting and gaming continued for a while and all seemed well. That was until one voice call when we decided to turn on face cams. We saw each other and all seemed fine... but there was a long period in between that where VIne just didn't seem to talk to me afterwards. I didn't really think much of it because we would often go long periods without talking to each other. And since at this point we went to different schools (he stayed at the private online school and I got into homeschooling) so we had different school / homework times and we would often not update each other on what we were doing when this happened. So I didn't think much of it until four months later when he still hadn't said anything but for some reason he had deleted the group Discord server. Since I was really confused I decided to DM him asking what happened. He never ended up answering, and at some point I just stopped using my Discord account because of this.

Several months passed since then. Today I decided to try to reach out to Vine through email (please don't ask me why it took this long to reach out I really don't know why I did). But point is as soon as I sent an email saying hi to Vine and trying to ask him how he was doing and I get a message saying that his email is no longer in service. This made me really worried. I just don't know what to think anymore. Since I don't go to the private online school anymore I have no other way of reaching him. When Vine first got rid of the Discord server and stopped responding I thought maybe he just didn't want to talk to me anymore (which honestly I didn't mind), but when I found out his email was completely deleted I got worried. Was he going off the grid? And if so, why? 

I just want an opinion on this I guess. Maybe some sort of reassurance to know that Vine is okay? Idk...

I got scouted to the art portal! I’m excited to be scouted, I’ll have to make a celebratory art piece or something!

I’ve been on an anime binge spree recently, and while finishing so many anime’s recently I’ve run into a wall where I’m struggling to find good new animes. If anyone has any suggestions please comment them, personally I prefer Shonen anime but I don’t mind comedies either. The most inappropriate I go is Saiki K. or Tokyo Revengers levels of inappropriate jokes but even then that’s kinda pushing it.

So far I’ve watched Demon Slayer / KNY, MHA / BNHA, JJK, Tokyo Revengers, Tokyo Ghoul, Jojo’s, Saiki K., Dr. Stone and Mashle. :3

Just a random thing but thought I’d post it anyway.

No one has noticed (as far as I can tell at least) about my username difference across platforms. Normally I stick to my username “NerddDrawz” but despite not finding any users with that name on Newgrounds it refused to let me put my name as that here. Literally everywhere else (except for Geometry Dash) my username is consistently NerddDrawz, just for clarification. This is also why my signature is “ND”, because that’s my original username.

I only chose the name “Hollyberry&Splice” because it’s long enough that I knew no one else would have it, plus Hollyberry is my true WoF sona, and Splice is my secondary WoF sona, so I thought it would be fitting to use them in my username. I don’t normally think that long about usernames so I could’ve picked something better but oh well.

New grounds removed my videos for some reason, not sure why but it sure gave me a startle ngl XD

I had deleted the original videos from my editing software I had exported them from so Newgrounds presumably would be the only way I could watch the videos, though after they were removed from here I was lucky enough to realize that they were still in the bin on my device so I was able to recover them!

Not sure if I should repost them though, considering they were already taken down, but I wasn’t informed why they were deleted they’re just gone, so should I try again? Help qwq
